Late Summer Senior Portraits in Washington
If you want golden hour senior portraits with gorgeous fall colors that are just starting to show, Miss Kloe’s late summer senior portraits have all the inspiration you need. This Class of 2021 AHP Model Team member brought along her gorgeous husky for her September session, and her dad joined us with a brand-new baby kitten! This session was so much fun, from getting to know Kloe’s family and pets to capturing her in her best light.
Senior Portraits at Fort Steilacoom
This boss babe knew that she wanted a sunny senior portrait session where she could wear tall boots and fun dresses. We got the best of both worlds by booking her session in mid-September, just as summer was ending and fall was beginning. The leaves were just starting to turn, and the yellow hues were gorgeous for her session. Fort Steilacoom has huge fields of grass that add a rustic touch to summer and fall portraits. The golden hour was simply perfect at Fort Stilly, and it was just warm enough for Kloe to dip her toes in the water.
Outfit Ideas for Senior Portraits
Kloe has a classic style, and I simply love the timeless looks she chose for her senior portrait session. She kicked things off with a buffalo check flannel and skinny jeans. She also brought along some Bonney Lake High School spirit wear – I simply love when my seniors represent their schools and hometowns! Layering her cute outfits with a sweatshirt, cozy sweater, and a classic jean jacket also kept her from feeling cold.
In addition to her casual outfits, Kloe dressed up her session with the best selection of dresses. Her dark blue floral sundress was simply stunning with the golden leaves and dry grass at Fort Steilacoom. She also brought a beautiful lace dress with buttons down the front, a white floral dress with fluttery sleeves, and a purple and pink ombré dress (a personal favorite of mine from the AHP Style Closet). She also humored me by wearing an oversized sun hat, which looked ah-mazing with her gorgeous long hair. She looked so cute posing in front of a bright pink wall. This resulted in awesome portraits! I’m so grateful to Kloe for trusting me and opening up for her session.
Feeling Confident for Senior Portraits
Miss Kloe is quite shy, so she brought along her BFF to boost her confidence throughout the session. Her mom, dad, and older sister also joined us for her portraits. Bringing along a trusted friend or family member is always an option for your AHP senior session. I want you to feel confident and excited for your session! Having your family come with you is also a great way to celebrate such an important milestone. Kloe loves having coffee with her mom on the weekends and riding dirt bikes with her dad, and it was great to include them in her senior portraits.
Kloe is introverted, but she is also so kind. I have loved seeing her come out of her shell and gain confidence on the AHP Model Team. She loves helping people, and she always treats people with such care. She’s a wonderful addition to the AHP Model Team, and I am so happy that she applied.
Big Dreams for the Future
I love learning about my seniors, what they are passionate about, and what their plans are for the future. Kloe is an awesome softball player, and you can just tell how much she loves fastpitch by how she talks about it. She also balanced softball, select softball, work, and school this year. She is hardworking and determined.
Kloe plans to study nursing in college, with the hope of becoming a pediatric nurse. She is so great with kids, and her compassionate nature will take her far in life. I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes after graduation.
