Holiday Tree Farm Portraits
This winter’s holiday tree farm portraits with the Class of 2023 Model Team was just the photo shoot to get us fully ready for the holidays! As I’m sure everyone can relate, this time of year can get crazy!! It can be hard to immerse yourself in the Christmas mood with everything going on. But on the day of this shoot, the girls brought all the holiday spirit needed and we kicked off our December shoot in style! I couldn’t have asked for a better team of young women to celebrate with!
Knutson Farms Christmas
We planned our styled shoot at Knutson Farms in Sumner, WA, and found a photo-op extravaganza!!! Our first scheduled shoot was snowed out, so this was our makeup day. How fitting is that?? This time around, it sprinkled on us a little. But we rocked the venue anyway with the help of their nifty, covered sets. So fun! I love this venue for our holiday shoot! This time of year, the farm becomes a winter wonderland full of trees, wreaths, cute table decorations, and SO much more! It felt like a holiday movie set, and I made sure we assembled the best cast of senior stars for our script!
Senior Model Winter Fun
Ten AH-mazing girls came to this session all decked out in the cutest sweaters and winter gear. Some brought their own super fun props to match. One of the moms even made us candy canes shaped like hearts!! How thoughtful is that?? Our team of girls is the best and fully commits themselves to these sessions. With busy schedules and demanding expectations, it always amazes me how each one of them shows up to support one another and have fun. While the holidays can be such a magical time, they can also be a really hard time of year for many reasons. I love being able to have fun shoots like this to get the girls minds off of their stresses and into a group full of laughter, cute clothes, makeup, and most importantly, teenage girls building one another up!
Merry Everything and Happy Always
The holidays are the perfect time for reminiscing about the year and remembering the people in our lives that we are grateful for. Some of my favorite parts of this work are getting to know so many families and meeting wonderful people! As an extroverted entrepreneur, being a solo boss can get lonely. The Model Team is one of the parts of this work that provides me with just as much growth and community as it does for the girls. It is a blast bonding with each of them and sharing in the different things that bring all of us joy! I can’t believe the Class of 2023 has already been on the “team” for almost a year! Time really does fly when you are having fun! And that is what I wish for all of you! Whatever holiday traditions you celebrate in your home, from the AHP family to yours, we hope you have a beautiful holiday season!!
