Model Team 2023 Sunflowers Shoot
I cannot wait to share with you the Model Team 2023 sunflowers shoot we did this spring! In keeping with the flowery theme, this session was dedicated to the most summery flower of them all: the sunflower! We did two days of bonus shoots for the team (the girls really wanted the extra time) and both days were a blast! As always, our model team blew me away with their session!
PNW Flower Fields
We started our shoot on a gorgeous PNW Sunflower farm near Tacoma. There was too much goodness to capture in just one session, so we spread the shoot over two days. The first day was incredibly sunny and so warm! For the next day, those gloomy and grey Washington skies rolled in, which just made the bright yellow sunnies pop even more! It’s always amazing what crazy weather we can get from one day to the next, and how each one can be so perfect in its own way. Just one of the many reasons I love being a Washington photographer! I love our seasons!
There Can Never be Too Much Yellow!
During our shoot, we had so many fun props to pose with! We had endless areas to explore between the tractor, the giant yellow Adirondack chair, that gorgeous yellow door, and more. Which meant endless ideas for this photographer and a million poses for her models! But of course, the shining star at this shoot were all those AH-mazing sunflowers! In so many varieties and heights, there was yellow as far as the eye could see. These sunny fields were the perfect playground for my AHP girlies!
AHP Perks, BFF Edition
One of the perks of model team is BYF shoots, or bring your friend! (I’ll work on the acronym LOL). On certain shoot days, we open up the team session for the girls to bring their friends! Each team member gets some solo time in from of the camera, while also enjoying the perks of a BFF shoot too. How great is that? We get to spend the day meeting new faces, bonding with old friends, and taking gorgeous pictures in fun places. Sounds like a pretty perfect day to me!
