Kentlake High Senior Session
I had a blast shooting with our Class of 2023 Model Team member, Miss Jenna, for her Kentlake High senior session! This theatre girl turned cheerleader, was referred to me by a past team girl. I just love it when a happy senior and their family send another girl (or guy) my way! It makes my day knowing they loved their portraits and AHP experience. After all, that’s why we do what we do. Jenna and I adventured all over Tacoma for this shoot and I cannot wait to share it all with you!!
Flowery Backyard Portraits
We started Jenna’s session at her house, which had the best backyard!! I made sure to position our senior next to the gorgeous hydrangeas and bright pink lilies that the family had growing by the fence. Her dress matched them perfectly! Jenna changed into a cute, striped two-piece outfit for our next round of photos under the white pergola. We added a hat too and it was just the thing to tie the whole piece together! What a gorg girl!
Tacoma Adventures
Our session took an urban twist for the second half of the day as we headed to downtown Tacoma and shot around the studio for a few looks. Tracie, our AH-mazing H+MU artist, accompanied us on our journey and switched up Jenna’s hairstyles to match her new looks. I loved those fun mini ponytails she rocked for her downtown outfit! So cute and very on trend right now! We ended our day at the Tacoma Chinese Reconciliation Park right in time to snag that gorgeous evening light. Jenna even got in the water for a few pictures!! There is something about a white babydoll dress on the beach that I just love! A classic look for our classic beauty!
All Hail the Converse Queen
Jenna officially won the title of converse queen after our session! She brought a cute pair of converse for every outfit. Black, white, high top, platform, and even a bright green pair! Which matched her adorable crop top and white flared jeans so well– Love! Jenna is such a sweetheart who I have enjoyed getting to know. One thing I have learned about senior photography is that it can be so hard to find the perfect photographer for you. That’s why it is so important to share your photos and experience so others can see. Plus, who doesn’t love sharing a fab pic for their Senior Sunday posts?
