Mercer Island Senior Session
For Miss Brooke’s Mercer Island senior session, we headed out to her hometown to check out their family’s neighborhood and get some fun shots from her childhood! We enjoyed the day roaming around the streets she grew up on, and taking pictures wherever we thought looked just perfect! This day was so much fun and very chill, which matched Brooke’s personality to a T!
Backyard Photoshoot
Picking a senior portrait location that is near to your home is so much fun! I love these types of sessions because I get to photograph seniors in places near and dear to them. Brooke grew up on this street, which makes these photos extra special! So much meaning in each spot. We had a blast posing in her yard, using all the foliage for our backgrounds, and capturing that PNW light as it changed. The gorgeous sunflowers were my fav! A classic beauty, just like Brooke! She even brought out the guitar and gave us a mini-show on the picnic blanket.

After we got all her solo poses wrapped up in the yard, Brooke’s pup joined us in the picture-taking fun! Her lovely black lab hopped right up on the bench and laid down for us! Adorable!! We even got a few shots with the two of them on the deck, and mom and dad snuck in to join them too! I love when we get a shot of the whole family together! Such important memories to capture before their little girl graduates! Incorporating our furry friends into senior sessions is a great way to have a little fun! If you are interested in posing with your pup (or other animals!) let me know in advance so we can make sure they are well taken care of!
Class of 2022 Grad!
Brooke is a graduate of Mercer Island High School, Class of 2022! So it was only fitting that we picked a location nearby. I had so much fun exploring around the block and photographing places important to Brooke and her family. Brooke rocked her session and had the perfect combo of relaxation and fun! Picking a location can be a challenge, but you can never go wrong picking a place close to home! This sweet girl was so much fun to photograph and I wish her nothing but the best on her next big adventure!
