Point Defiance Senior Portraits
I had the pleasure of photographing Miss Rowan for her Point Defiance senior portraits this past fall and am so happy to share them with you all!! She and I go way back! Her mom and I met when she became my hairstylist over a decade ago (how can it have been that long already??). I can’t believe the little girl I have been photographing for years is now a high school graduate!! What a bittersweet moment for us, but I am so excited to see Rowan continue on her journey!
Capturing the Changing Seasons
We did Rowan’s session in early October at Point Defiance and had so much fun seeing the changing seasons. Summer held on a little longer this year than it has in the past, and gave us some beautiful mid-season weather! Perfect for sweaters and sundresses! For a few of the shots, Rowan wore a gorgeous deep purple/plum off-the-shoulder dress and it matched the surrounding fall foliage almost exactly! Such a great background to highlight her light coloring and dark dress! AH-mazing!
Blossoms and Blue Eyes
Rowan rocked that fall light all day and we made sure to get as much of the natural beauty of point defiance as we could. We lucked out and there were still some roses in bloom in the gardens!! It was the perfect surrounding for photographing Rowan in her element, reading some of her fav books. After her secret garden moment, we danced around and enjoyed sweater weather!! But the best part of all, the blue eyes on this beauty! I was completely mesmerized editing these! Wow!
