Urban August Senior Portraits

Just like with Model Team, Briejana wanted a fun and enjoyable experience for her urban August senior portraits! It was my pleasure to make this happen for this funny, loving senior! Fun fact: She is the third sister in her family that I have photographed for their senior year! Check out Briejana’s sister Taijah’s session here! I just love repeat clients, they are the best!

All About Color

Orange and peach were the colors of the summer last year, and we paired Brie’s awesome sweater with a yellow wall and it was perfect! Her red and pink checked dress was also giving us major “Clueless” vibes and we loved it, especially with the bright red brick wall! Definitely, Cher approved! Briejana’s session was ALL about color and we even had a first during this shoot. A brand new location in Tacoma that I had never photographed before! We found some cool painted walls in Tacoma, so we parked nearby, loaded up the wagon, and went on foot to check them out. Take a look at these cool painted walls, just wow! 

Kubota Gardens and Tacoma

We then went up north to Kubota Gardens for their gorg foliage and colorful flowers. From bright blue flowers that matched her beautiful blue dress and jean jacket, to bold green bushes that contrasted her lovely dark hair, this location had it all! Brie rocked the urban look in Tacoma and the floral natural vibes of the Gardens. So fun and effortless! And how AH-dorable is her pink hat that matched her ruched top and hydrangeas in the background?? 

You Decide Your Own Beauty 

This cheerleader knows that “true beauty is whenever you feel most confident” and that “you decide your own beauty!” And we couldn’t agree more! Our goal at AHP is to make sure every senior feels on top of the world for their portrait session, and a huge part of that is making sure they are comfortable. We want to see each of our lovely seniors shine in front of the camera and keep these memories for a lifetime! We are always happy to have besties, parents, or siblings come along to help hype you up too!
