Urban Senior Portraits in Tacoma
Miss Emmalee knew she wanted urban senior portraits in Tacoma, and we made the most of the day! We had the best session, exploring Opera Alley near my studio before heading to Point Defiance and Tacoma Narrows Beach. There are so many ah-mazing spots in Tacoma for senior portraits, and Emmalee and I had so much fun exploring.
What to Wear for Senior Portraits
Emmalee has the best sense of fashion, and I simply loved what she chose to wear for her senior portraits. This kind, happy blonde wore gorgeous shades of blues, greens, and oranges throughout her session. She kept things casual with cuffed jeans and a puff-sleeve top before changing into a flowy blue dress. We had fun exploring the vibrant, colorful parts of Opera Alley and finding different backgrounds to show off Emmalee’s floral mesh heels and colorful outfits.
This fun senior also rocked different accessories. Miss Emmalee brought along a cute hat, a gold floral headpiece, and statement earrings. She also decided to go for the “Add a Stylist” option with her senior session, meaning Tracie did different hairstyles and lip colors for each outfit change. She looked so glam!
From the City to the Beach
After exploring the cityscape, Emmalee and her “team” headed to Point Defiance. The garden here is one of my favorite spots in Tacoma, especially when the flowers are in bloom. The lush greenery and colorful flowers just add a special touch to portraits! Emmalee looked right at home in the garden in her summery outfits.
Ending the day at the beach was the perfect decision! Emmalee went barefoot for our time on the beach. She’s ah-mazing at posing, and we took advantage of the driftwood, tree swing, and sandy beach. I love that she wasn’t afraid to lie down on the beach or dip her toes in the cool water.
Plans for After Graduation
Miss Emmalee attends Bonney Lake High School and Running Start at Green River College. She’s passionate about learning. She has played piano for six years and also loves painting. Her varied interests have led her to consider majoring in architectural design, as it offers a mix of art and math and she loves architecture. I know that her hard work and drive will take her far in life. I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next!
