July Senior Portraits at Fort Steilacoom
Miss Sienna is as country as a city girl can get, and her July senior portraits at Fort Steilacoom captured her independent spirit! This awesome senior is kind and honest, and I had so much fun getting to know her. She chose Fort Steilacoom for her portraits because of its natural, rustic atmosphere. And we got to enjoy the sunset at Chambers Bay. I am so excited to share more from this summer session.
Summer Senior Sessions with AHP
Summer in the PNW is simply beautiful, and I can’t get enough of the sunlight. We had gorgeous light for Sienna’s session. She was fully prepared for a day in the sun. Sienna brought along her BFF Isabelle, a Class of 2021 Model Team member. Isabelle had her senior portrait session at Owen Beach – on the blog here! – and she was a pro for assisting during Sienna’s session. I love when my seniors bring along a trusted friend or family member to help during the senior portrait session, either by holding the reflector, assisting with wardrobe changes, or just offering support and encouragement! Having a bestie there is such a confidence boost.
Outfit Ideas for July Senior Portraits
Miss Sienna leaned into the country vibes of Fort Stilly, and kicked things off with brown cowboy boots, jeans, and a flowy top. She opted to wear her lovely blonde hair down in loose curls, and her glam makeup completed the look. Amplifying the summer vibes, Sienna changed into sunflower bellbottoms. Such a fun look! She also brought along her varsity bowling letter jacket (she’s the captain of the Emerald Ridge High School Team). I love when my seniors bring along clothing, accessories, and props with special meaning.
We ended Sienna’s session by the water at Chambers Bay, where she changed into cute sundresses, including a gorgeous pink one from the AHP Style Closet. She cozied up on the beach for blue hour portraits after the sunset, with a cute Pendleton blanket to stay warm.
Getting to Know Sienna
Sienna is a force to be reckoned with, and I had an awesome time getting to know her. This kind, honest girl always sees the silver lining. She has a firm belief that everything happens for a reason, and I know she has overcome so many obstacles. Even through that, she has remained true to herself and independent. She also has a solid group of friends, and treasured memories of watching Friday night football games with them.
Miss Sienna plans to attend the University of the Cumberlands, which offers online programs. She wants to pursue a degree in criminal justice. I have no doubt she will end up with her dream job as a criminal investigator for a government agency.
