Purple Dress at My Little White House | AHP Creative Shoot
This awesome, creative shoot involved a purple dress at My Little White House and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Miss Kendall and Miss Andrea joined me for this stylized session. Andrea was part of the Class of 2020 AHP Model Team, and Kendall was a Class of 2021 grad.
My Vision for My Little White House
For this shoot, I wanted to visit My Little White House for the first time and just play! This stunning venue was built by Daniel Blagovich, who repurposed discarded items and created a beautiful space. He was an awesome host, and the house was truly magical.
I envisioned a couple of dresses for this creative shoot. Since the venue is all white, I knew whichever dresses I chose would stand out. So, I decided to rent a stunning purple dress from Utah Gowns. I also brought along a feathery white gown and a romantic blush pink tulle robe.
The Importance of Creativity
As a professional photographer, dedicating time and energy to getting the creative juices flowing is so important. I love working with seniors and bring their vision to life for their senior portraits. But I also love developing my own creative vision and making them a reality with a styled shoot. Sometimes, I need to do shoots just for me. This helps me push boundaries, try new things, and develop my art.
Magical Portraits in West Seattle
The light was AH-mazing for these portraits. The all-white venue has touches of greenery, including ivy climbing the walls outside. A chandelier, candles, and vintage mirrors inside make the space feel so romantic. Kendall kicked things off in the gorgeous purple tulle dress, with pearl jewelry and soft makeup.
Andrea looked absolutely stunning in the blush pink tulle robe. She accessorized with crystal jewelry and glam makeup. Her dark hair looked gorgeous against the light tulle of the robe. These two girls had so much fun posing in My Little White House. They swapped dresses midway through the session. These girls could rock any look, and I am so grateful to them for trusting my vision for this shoot!
