Tukwila Senior Portraits
These Tukwila senior portraits are a throwback to the Class of 2019. Miss Jace attended Tyee High School and wanted her senior portraits at and around it. I love when seniors pick locations that have meaning to them. It’s always so much fun seeing where these seniors hang out and what they like to do. We also explored downtown Tukwila and I got to see parts of town I had never been to before.
Location Scouting for Senior Portraits
I have a few favorite locations for senior portraits, but I also love scouting out new spots to bring a specific vision to life. It is so much fun finding cool walls and pops of color in different cities around Seattle and Tacoma. Every senior experience is an adventure!
For Jace’s senior session, we found urban spots with neat architecture and unique features. We also explored around her high school – until the lights came on! This was such an awesome session, and I am so grateful to Jace for being my Tukwila tour guide for the day. She was even on crutches with a broken foot, but you would never know from just looking at her photos. She did AH-mazing.
Outfit Ideas for Tukwila Senior Portraits
Jace has golden blonde hair and fair skin, and she picked outfits that complemented her features perfectly. She started the session off with a cute pink blouse tied at the waist and black leggings. Her second outfit was a cute boho romper and strappy sandals. This is such a great option for summer senior portraits. Another awesome way to style your senior portrait session is with layers. Jace paired ripped jeans and a sunflower top with a cute utility jacket.
She also added a pop of color to each outfit with her bright yellow nails! Getting a manicure before your senior portrait session is one of the best things you can do. Your hands show in most of your portraits, and some poses are even meant to show off your fresh mani.
The AHP Seniors Community
As a senior portrait photographer, I love creating a community of strong and empowered young women. Miss Jace attends WSU and is in a sorority with another AHP Senior, Miss Kat, from the Class of 2020! You can take a peek at Kat’s senior session at Lake Tapps here.
It is such a small world, and I am so grateful that these girls made a connection in a new environment. As a boss babe, it means so much to me to see other boss babes unite. I know that Jace, Kat, and all of the AHP Seniors have bright futures ahead of them, and I can’t wait to see what they do next.
