Styled Studio Shoot in Tacoma
I simply love when my seniors come back after they graduate for fresh photos! Miss Chloe was a Class of 2020 graduate who came in for a styled studio shoot in Tacoma. She had a particular vision for this shoot and did her own hair and makeup. Her portraits turned out AH-mazing and I am so excited to feature them.
Outfit Inspiration for a Modern Studio Shoot
This boss babe rocked fashion that represented every decade for this fun studio shoot. We kicked things off with a modern cottagecore look: a floral green sweater and flowy white dress. Chloe looked so feminine and sweet! I love that she paired this look with her worn-in Converse.
Then we flashed back to the 70s with an orange pleather jacket, band tee, and denim. Then the 80s called with mom jeans, a white turtleneck, and an oversized sweater. Chloe looked great in every outfit, and we thought why not channel the 90s with a plaid crop top, khakis, and Doc Martens.
We also had fun playing in the AHP Style Closet (which I stock with new trends every season). She chose a pink fluffy tulle robe that looked absolutely stunning on her! She is an incredible dancer, and her talent showed in the way she posed and carried herself throughout the session.
Studio 253 in Downtown Tacoma
If you have not yet been to my studio downtown, you are missing out. This awesome space has a wall of windows for a ton of natural light. And we are always switching up the backdrops, adding props, and decorating the studio to match different themes and ideas.
We started Chloe’s styled studio shoot in front of the Tezza Collage wall. This fun wall is decorated with high-quality prints with pink hues and fashion inspiration. I think it’s such a great idea for bedrooms, dorm rooms, and studio apartments!
We also just added a 4×4 white box to the studio. Portraits in this fun box look straight out of a music video or Vogue photoshoot. Or, in Chloe’s case, a Rolling Stone Magazine photoshoot. She rocked an orange hat and Led Zeppelin T-shirt for the 4×4 portraits.
There are also solid backdrops for modern portraits, including a bold red background. Miss Chloe looked stunning in every space in the studio!
Plans for the Future
It was so much fun spending the day with Miss Chloe and hearing all about her life since graduating from college. This awesome young lady graduated with her AA and is pursuing more college while enjoying life. She is so talented! I just love her bold style and glam makeup.
