Fall Senior Portraits in Seattle
These fall senior portraits in Seattle are filled with all the inspiration you could need for your own session later this year. Miss Kendall wanted a casual, outdoor setting for her senior portraits in mid-October with TONS of fall color, and we found the perfect spots. The leaves were changing colors, and the city was filled with vibrant red, orange, and yellow hues.
Getting to Know the Class of 2021 Seniors
Miss Kendall attends Bonney Lake High School and is on the 2021 AHP Model Team. She and her twin sister, Taylor, are so much fun to have as models! They are one of the two sets of twins on the team this year, and I am so glad they applied together. They have encouraged each other throughout their senior year, and it is so awesome to see their confidence grow by being on the team.
This boss babe has such a creative imagination, and she has been writing her own stories since elementary school. She loves reading, writing, and playing video games, and her love of storytelling is so apparent. I have simply loved getting to know Kendall. She is quirky and optimistic, and her point of view is always so fun and refreshing. I know she will be an amazing author, actor, or comedian, and I am so excited to see what the future holds for her!
Outdoor Senior Portraits in Seattle
We started our late afternoon adventure at Gene Coulon Park in Renton. Miss Kendall had so much fun playing in the leaves and walking along the tree-lined streets. Fall in the PNW is ah-mazing! Not only do we get the gorgeous fall colors, but we still have tons of evergreen trees and foliage. The contrast is so perfect for fall senior portraits.
After exploring Gene Coulon Park together, Miss Kendall and I headed to Kubota Garden in Seattle (along with her mom and my lighting assistant.) I simply love this garden. The landscaping is stunning, and there are two fun red bridges in the garden that are just perfect for posing. We walked along the beautifully landscaped paths, capturing Miss Kendall in her element. The gorgeous fall colors looked perfect with her casual, layered outfits. This gorgeous senior smiled her way throughout her whole session.
Fall Outfits for Senior Portraits
Yes, you can still show your legs in October! Fall in the Pacific Northwest often calls for layers, but don’t feel like you need to bundle up for your senior portraits in Seattle. We lucked out with mild weather, and Miss Kendall rocked her session with the latest fall trends. She kicked things off with a little black dress and classic jean jacket (one of my favorite combos!). Her trusty Converse sneakers completed the look and kept her comfortable as we walked throughout the park.
Another fall must-have for senior portraits is a black leather jacket. Miss Kendall paired hers with a bright top and floral print skirt. I love how this look transitions easily from the end of summer to the beginning of fall. Bright red strappy sandals added another pop of color to Kendall’s fall portraits. But of course, it wouldn’t be fall without a fun pair of boots. Kendall chose cowboy boots and jeans for her casual portraits.
Natural Hair and Makeup
Miss Kendall rarely wears makeup and has the prettiest curly hair. Our professional hair and makeup artist, Tracie, did an ah-mazing job highlighting Kendall’s features with natural makeup. Kendall wore her hair down in bouncy curls for her portraits. Tracie balanced Kendall’s eye makeup and long lashes with light blush and a natural lip color. It is so important to us that our seniors look like themselves, but with an extra boost of confidence!
Professional hair and makeup shows you in your best light. We pamper our seniors before their session to make sure they look and feel their absolute best. Miss Kendall’s hair and makeup looked perfect with each outfit she chose! We also offer the option to add a stylist to your portrait session, so you can switch up your hairstyle and lip color with your outfit changes.
