Boho Fort Steilacoom Senior Portraits
These boho Fort Steilacoom senior portraits feature an awesome 2019 grad. The two of us wandered around Fort Stilly during a crisp fall day, and it did not disappoint. You never know what the weather will be like in the fall here, but we lucked out with a fun dark sky, and the rain held off for photos.
Boho Style for Senior Photos
Nobi is so much fun to be around, and I just love her boho style. She rocked fun floral prints, embroidered tops, and flowy elephant pants. And I simply love her long hair! In addition to her boho looks, Nobi layered her outfits for the fall weather. She wore cozy sweaters, booties, and fitted jeans. And of course – a must-have for senior portraits – a classic denim jacket. I even convinced her to go barefoot for a few photos, adding to the boho vibe of her session.
The jewelry that Nobi chose was minimal, but all the pieces she chose worked with her different outfits. Classic gold hoop earrings are timeless, and Nobi paired hers with a cross necklace. To switch up her look, she tossed her hair in a high pony towards the end of the session. Pulling your hair back – or letting it down – during your session is an easy way to get different looks without changing your outfit!
Fall Weather at Fort Steilacoom
Fort Steilacoom is an awesome spot for rustic senior portraits. The classic red barns, open fields, and old fences will make you feel like you’re on the set of a country music video. The tall, dry grass looks like wheat and adds a golden hue to fall portraits. And there is still plenty of lush greenery around with the tall trees.
Nobi and I explored Fort Stilly and made sure we captured portraits with all the different backgrounds. From posing on a fallen tree to walking along a concrete wall, this girl was up for an adventure.
