Sunflower Field Portraits | AHP Model Team
Nothing says summer like sunflower field senior portraits! The AHP Model Team and I had an ah-mazing day at Bob’s Corn Maze in Snohomish, with sunflowers as far as the eye could see. It was the best spot for outdoor summer portraits with the girls.
The AHP Model Team
Every month, I invite the AHP Model Team to a themed portrait session. This is one of the many perks of being a model team member. It’s a great way for the girls to bond as a team, get to know each other better, and unwind during what can be a stressful year. COVID-19 has changed plans for everyone this year and navigating the last year of high school during unprecedented times is no easy task. I am so glad we were able to get together as a team and just hang out for a few hours on the farm!
Juniors, it is not too early for you to think about being an AHP Model Team member. I will start accepting applications for the class of 2022 in November, which will be here before we know it. If you aren’t following me on social media, head over to my Instagram, and keep your eye on my stories for updates.
Late Summer Fashion for Sunflower Field Senior Portraits
The AHP Model Team girls wore their best late summer outfits for these sunflower portraits. Some of the girls wore floral print dresses, while others opted for casual jeans and T-shirts. A few of the girls brought along one of my favorite layers for senior portraits: the classic jean jacket. This jacket never goes out of style and can be layered over dresses or more casual outfits.
Another must-have accessory for summer portraits is a fun hat. I keep the AHP Style Closet stocked with trendy accessories, including fun festival hats. The girls kept other accessories simple, with fun anklets, layered necklaces, and other delicate jewelry.
A Fun Summer Day
Bob’s Corn and Pumpkin Farm is such a fun venue. They have nearly 10 acres of tall sunflowers with so many gorgeous spots for portraits. The girls got to discover so many types of sunflowers (over 30 varieties!) while enjoying the sunshine and celebrating the end of summer before starting classes. We walked through the rows of sunflowers and took individual and group portraits with different backdrops. The farm has hay bales and dirt paths that gave these sunflower field portraits a rustic feel.
Everyone who works at the farm is so friendly and knowledgeable. In addition to the ah-mazing sunflower fields, the farm also has corn, pumpkins, fire pits, and the cutest country store. This is such a gem in Snohomish and I am so glad the AHP Model Team got to experience it.
