Kubota Garden Senior Fall Portrait Session
Kaly knew she would want fall colors and cooler days for her senior portraits. So she and her mom made sure to book her Kubota Garden senior fall portrait session in June to make sure she got the date and season that she wanted. It is so important to book early. I open my books in mid-March for summer bookings, which is important to note for the class of 2021. If you are on the AHP Model Team, you get VIP access to my calendar to book your dates first!
I am so glad Kaly scheduled a fall portrait session. The autumn colors were the best backdrop for her AH-mazing fall outfit choices. Her cozy plaid scarf and brown leather jacket looked awesome with the changing colors of the leaves. Fall came late this year, so the pops of color stood out amongst all the PNW greenery. Kaly also brought along a few outfit changes that worked perfectly with the garden flowers and stunning architecture we found.
UW Campus & Outfit Inspiration
We started Kaly’s senior fall portrait session at the University of Washington, where she hopes to go to college. She brought along her stylist to change up her hair and lip color between outfits. This is part of the Le Diva session package, and can make such a difference in your portraits! Pro Hair and Makeup Artist Kara worked with Kaly to choose the best hairstyle for each outfit – from wearing it down in loose curls to half up with a bun. Her glam makeup brought out Kaly’s eyes and enhanced her natural features. We are all about helping you look and feel your best for your senior portraits.
The UW campus library is such a gorgeous backdrop for senior portraits. Kaly paired light orange wide-leg pants with a white tee and nude heels that matched the setting perfectly. So chic! And check out her claws – getting your nails done for your senior portraits is always a good idea.
Kubota Garden
After exploring UW, we headed over to Kubota Garden. The flowers were stunning. Kaly put on a fun purple hat that matched the blooms behind her. I love that she wasn’t afraid of using color throughout her senior portrait session and Kubota Garden was the perfect setting. Yummy light came through the trees and we captured some gorgeous fall senior portraits.
Exploring with Kaly was an adventure. While we were walking along, my shoe got stuck in the mud! Kaly and I had a good laugh as I pulled the shoe out of the mud. It made the grossest sucking sound, but was an unforgettable moment. I am all about having fun during these sessions and we had a great time.
A Bright Future
I can see Kaly being happy and successful at UW, or wherever she decides to go to college! This boss babe has big plans to study law and become a criminal and defense attorney. After getting to know her, I can see how compassionate and thoughtful she is. She has participated in her church mission group, helping to build houses for those in need. Kaly is also the first to ask you how you are doing and if there is anything she can do to help. This girl has a heart for helping others and working hard. She loves her family and friends, and looks up to her older sisters. I know she has a bright future ahead of her.
