Late Summer Senior Session in Point Defiance
This late summer senior session in Point Defiance and Owen Beach has all the golden hour light and dreamy fall tones. Sophia’s session was the last day of August, which was perfect for her gorgeous style. She brought all the fall colors with an awesome orange top and sage green dress that complemented her skin tone and makeup. We got some AH-MAZING end of summer sun at the Pt. Defiance Rose Garden. I love that this was one of the locations for Sophia’s senior session since she attended classes in Pt. Defiance for SAMI. The roses and sunflowers gave us perfect pops of color and I love the golden hour sun!
A Natural Model
This girl has some of the best model looks. I met her through one of her besties, Andréa, who is also on the 2020 AHP Model Team. We did an awesome summer shoot with the girls roller-skating and skateboarding. We had so much fun, and I just KNEW I wanted Sophia on the model team when the time came.
All of Sophia’s outfits were perfect for her portraits, but the way she rocked that blue and white striped jumper??? Just like a model would! Even though fall hadn’t come knocking yet, Sophia decided to style a comfy oversized sweater with tight black jeans and awesome fall boots. And how great does she look in neutral colors? I just love this girl’s style. And I’m not the only one; her header photo was featured on two senior portrait Instagram pages: Pose Patch and Senior Muse.
Sunset at Owen Beach
We ended Sophia’s gorgeous shoot at Owen Beach, where this brave young girl got in the freezing PNW water in her super cute dress. We watched the hazy sunset over the beach, which was so cool. Sophia has such an adventurous spirit and I am so grateful she chose me to capture her senior portraits.
A Bright Future
Sophia is considering a future career in civil engineering. She is so kind and caring, I know she will be successful no matter what she chooses to do. I love her positivity and how witty she is. I can’t wait to see all this boss babe accomplishes!

Sophia did her own hair, but Jessica Blondet of Blondet Beauty did her makeup and she LOVED it. Offering professional hair & makeup for my seniors is so much fun. They get to be pampered right before their session and it gives that extra boost of confidence.
